DON PEDRO LAKE, Calif. — Family and friends are mourning the heartbreaking loss of 3-year-old Lailah Rosillo, who died following a tragic drowning incident at Fleming Meadows Lagoon at Don Pedro Lake on Saturday, July 18.
What began as a family camping trip intended to create cherished memories ended in unimaginable tragedy, leaving Lailah’s parents, siblings, grandparents, and extended family grieving the loss of a beloved little girl whose bright spirit touched everyone around her.
Emergency responders were called to Fleming Meadows Lagoon after reports of a possible drowning. Despite lifesaving efforts by first responders, Lailah could not be revived.
At just three years old, Lailah was remembered as a joyful, loving child whose smile could brighten any room. Family members described her as a treasured daughter, devoted sister, beloved granddaughter, and a source of happiness for everyone fortunate enough to know her.
