J-Roe shared a special bond with his twin brother, Perry Albert Hand II, and treasured every moment spent with his family. He was deeply loved by his grandparents, extended family, and many relatives who remember him for his joyful spirit, caring heart, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
A recent graduate of UMS-Wright Preparatory School, James distinguished himself as both an exceptional student and a talented athlete. He excelled academically, earning recognition through membership in prestigious honor societies, including Mu Alpha Theta, reflecting his commitment to learning and academic excellence.
Beyond the classroom, J-Roe embraced athletics with passion and determination. He competed in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field, varsity football, and varsity soccer, earning the admiration of coaches, teammates, and opponents alike. His competitive spirit, discipline, and positive attitude made him a respected leader both on and off the field.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., where family, friends, and members of the community will gather to honor his remarkable life and lasting legacy.
