Investigators reported that a northbound silver Dodge Ram towing a utility trailer attempted to avoid an oncoming gray Dodge pickup that had crossed the center line into the opposite lane. Despite the evasive maneuver, the vehicles collided, resulting in fatal injuries to Myron Dillingham. Another victim, Noelio Garza Peña, also lost his life in the crash. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing.
