A graduate of Georgetown Preparatory School in North Bethesda, Maryland, Sam distinguished himself both in the classroom and in athletics. He competed on the varsity wrestling team while becoming one of Georgetown Prep’s most accomplished rugby players. Over four years with the rugby program, he earned the respect of teammates and coaches through his determination, sportsmanship, and commitment to serving others. His leadership culminated in being named captain during his senior season, a role he embraced with pride and integrity.

Sam’s talent also earned him opportunities to compete with elite rugby programs, including Minuteman RFC 7s and Next Phase 7s, where he showcased his athletic ability against top competition while building lasting friendships within the rugby community.

After graduating with the Class of 2024, Sam continued his academic and athletic journey at the University of Louisville.
