The Tremonton, Utah, community continues to remember and celebrate the life of Christopher Leo Davidson, whose passing on July 9, 2024, at the age of 28 brought deep sorrow to his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Affectionately known as Chris, he was a devoted husband, loving son, loyal friend, and skilled plumber whose adventurous spirit and generous heart left a lasting impression on countless lives.
Born on January 4, 1996, in Logan, Utah, Chris was the cherished son of Darren and Tammy Davidson. Raised with strong family values and a love for the outdoors, he developed a reputation for his cheerful personality, dependable nature, and willingness to help others whenever needed. His obituary lovingly described him as having been “called home to go fishin’,” a fitting tribute to someone whose happiest moments were often spent on the water with a fishing rod in hand.
On September 26, 2019, Chris married the love of his life, Megan Lynn Schoenfeld, in Huntsville, Utah. Together they built a marriage centered on love, laughter, and shared adventures. Whether enjoying the outdoors, spending time with family, or simply creating memories together, Chris treasured every moment with Megan and remained deeply devoted to their life together.
Chris graduated from Clearfield High School in 2014 before continuing his education at Weber Tech, where he prepared for a career in the plumbing industry. His strong work ethic and commitment to excellence earned the respect of coworkers and customers alike. He began his career with Kbell Plumbing before joining Mike Bachman Plumbing in 2019, where he continued working until his passing. Those who knew him professionally admired his craftsmanship, reliability, and positive attitude.
Outside of work, Chris embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, an accomplishment that reflected his leadership, dedication, and commitment to serving others. He also participated in Future Farmers of America (FFA) and remained an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Fishing was more than a hobby for Chris—it was his passion. He loved spending time outdoors, whether casting a line into a favorite fishing spot or exploring nature with family and friends. He also enjoyed monster trucks and looked forward every year to celebrating the Fourth of July, bringing neighbors together with fireworks and festivities in the neighborhood cul-de-sac.
Chris leaves behind his beloved wife, Megan Davidson; his parents, Darren and Tammy Davidson; his siblings, Kim Call, Desiree Green, and Jesse Goode; 15 cherished nieces and nephews; and his grandparents, Thomas and Karen Huffman. He was preceded in death by his faithful companion, Bear Paw, who held a special place in his heart.
His family also expressed heartfelt appreciation for Cameron and Colton Thiel, whose enduring friendship brought joy and support throughout Chris’s life. Special recognition was extended to the Tremonton-Garland Police Department and Fire Department for their compassion and assistance during a difficult time.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate Chris’s life during funeral services held on July 17, 2024, at Rudd Funeral Home in Tremonton. Viewings took place the previous day and prior to the funeral service. Following the ceremony, he was laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery, where loved ones continue to honor his memory.
Chris Leo Davidson will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving family member, trusted friend, and hardworking professional whose kindness, humor, and adventurous spirit brightened every room he entered. Though his life ended far too soon, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to inspire those who knew him.
